Building a business is about solving a real problem for real people. This MasterClass is designed not only for entrepreneurs in healthcare and life sciences, but also for student startups, academic spinouts, and anyone with a great business idea ready to sharpen their value proposition and build a stronger, clearer offering.
You'll work actively, peer-to-peer, testing and strengthening each other’s thinking through fast-paced exercises, structured mapping, and live feedback rounds.
This is not a lecture. It’s a sprint, toward sharper offerings, better customer understanding, and quicker pivots.
In the MasterClass you'll:
- Explore Value Proposition Design
- Identify and prioritize real customer Jobs, Pains, and Gains
- Work in small teams to map and pressure-test your offering
- Get live peer feedback to challenge your blind spots
- Take home templates, tools, and a repeatable process for future development
- Network and connect across industries: tech, health, research, creative
Before attending, each participant must prepare a simple, focused 1-page pitch for their business or idea. So you can read it out loud during the “speed pitch” round. This 1-pager will be your starting point for group work. It ensures you and your peers can dive straight into real conversations and refinement without wasting time "figuring out the basics.”

- 14:00 – 14:10: Kick-off and framing
- 14:10 – 14:30: Speed-pitch introductions
- 14:30 – 14:45: Interactive lecture + hands-on mapping (Value Proposition, Customer Jobs, Pains, Gains)
- 15:00 – 15:30: Breakout groups (peer mapping, idea generation)
- 15:30 – 15:50: Mini-pitch + group feedback
- 16:00 – 17:00: Networking, Q&A, peer discussions
The MasterClass will be led by Peter Godtfredsen, a senior growth and innovation consultant with over 20 years of global experience. Peter has successfully facilitated workshops for renowned companies like Arla, LEGO, and COOP and has deep knowledge about business development within the health care and life science segments.
